Description
This year's Summer Reading theme is "Adventure Begins at Your Library!" Each week, between June 8 - July 27, visit North Regional Library to explore a new continent! From June 24-29 patrons will travel to Africa through our programs and displays.
On Saturday, June 29 from 10-11 AM, come experience the joy and energy of traditional African dance! Ivy Burch, instructor at the Hayti Heritage Center, will demonstrate and lead participants through movements to the rhythms of drums, and share about her dance journey.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch and move in.
This event is free and open to all ages and ability levels. If you have any accessibility questions or accommodation needs, please contact Lauren at lwise@dconc.gov. We ask that all requests be made at least three (3) business days prior to the event to ensure we can provide the best accommodations possible!
