Description
Bring your stuffed friend and learn about healthcare from the medical professionals visiting the Museum of Life and Science! Duke Children’s and Duke Pediatrics Teddy Bear Hospital will be open for guests to learn what to expect when visiting different doctors. Learn even more about the field from a variety of healthcare professionals up on the second floor, in our Investigate Health and Lab exhibits.
To participate in Teddy Bear Hospital:
- Bring your best teddy bear buddy*, and check in to the museum as usual.
- Check in to the Teddy Bear Hospital at our welcome table. Depending on the volume of visitors, we’ll give visitors timeslots to return, or take drop-in visits.
- Move through the stations with your best bear buddy, getting a full check-up for your friend.
- Check out to receive your bill-of-health as you exit and enjoy the rest of your day at the museum!
*If you don’t have a best bear buddy yet, no worries! There will be a number of donated teddy bears for folks to pick up as they arrive.
