For Brij

Brij Spangler was a bright light in every room - a child whose joy was infectious and whose spirit touched everyone he met. Brij was and continues to be the epitome of joy, kindness, compassion, intelligence, and fun.

In January 2024, Brij was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. Despite the devastating diagnosis, Brij continued to live with extraordinary grace and resilience. He loved fiercely and fully. He adored his friends, treasured his family, and never missed a chance to celebrate life. His strength throughout his illness was nothing short of remarkable. Though he left this world far too soon, Brij’s presence continues to be felt in the lives of all who knew him. As one of his favorite lines from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban reminds us:  “But know this: the ones that love us never really leave us.”

To honor Brij’s incredible life and the legacy of love, strength, and joy he left behind, we will be hosting events in his honor to raise money for organizations that aid families battling pediatric cancer diagnoses. Your support and participation mean the world to us. We can hear Brij yelling, “LET’S GOOOOOOOO!!!”

Volunteer Opportunities

We will need volunteers for set up and break down, umpires, field crew, running the games, selling snacks and drinks, and runners to take care of anything that arises. The number of volunteers needed will vary according to how many people sign up to play. We know your time is valuable and registering to help not only makes for a fun day but helps out families who need assistance.
