From calling the kids on stage for the "Spongebob Chorus" to the "Parents vs. Kids Hokey-pokey Challenge," Big Bang Boom has made certain that there is no sitting down at this fun and energetic show! Established in 2007 out of Greensboro, North Carolina, this rockin’ 3-piece power pop band consists of talented artists and long-time musicians Chuck Folds, Steve Willard, and Eddie Walker.

These dynamic dads play parent-friendly, educational children’s music! That’s right! After 20 years of touring the grown-up stages, Chuck, Steve, and Eddie decided to expand their horizons and play for parents (like themselves) who want MORE from children’s music. They write songs with a pop sensibility by cleverly mixing alternative, hip-hop, rock, country, and other genres to create music that both adults AND children can enjoy, because Big Bang Boom songs are fun and they teach you things!
Big Bang Boom is blowin’ up the Kindie Music world with three full-length albums, two bonus albums, and another album in production. Their song titled “Monster Under the Bed” won grand prize in the 2011 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and they wrote and performed the music for the WFMY’s Emmy Award Winning Community Service program, Read 2 Succeed!
On Stage is how Big Bang Boom shines best! You may have seen them performing on the prestigious Kidzapalooza stage at Lollapalooza, the Lake Eden Arts Festival (LEAF), The Tosco Music Party, Musikfest, Hangout Festival and the NASCAR Coca Cola 600 Speed Street Festival, or at any of the countless libraries (Yes, they are LOUD in the library!), schools, performing arts centers, and other events around the United States! For years, BIG BANG BOOM has even sponsored a Rock Star Summer Camp at several North Carolina Children’s Museums!!!
